Paddling for Hope is a nonprofit organization dedicated to education and early detection of breast cancer on Hawai‘i island. Hui Mālama Ola Nā ʻŌiwi and Paddling for Hope are working together to offer Honor Name stickers to purchase in honor of those diagnosed with cancer. 400 Honor Names will be displayed on Paddling for Hope’s canoe and race with founding member, Derek Park, in the M2M and the Paʻa Kaiwi Solo, making the journey between Maui, Molokaʻi, and Oʻahu.
