How to Help in Response to Puna Lava Flow 2018
Below are some options for helping in this difficult time. Many groups and individuals are working to help those displaced by the lava flow.

VOLUNTEER
Pu’uhonua o Puna, from their Facebook, “Pu’uhonua o Puna was founded as a place of refuge and comfort for those displaced by the May 2018 lava eruptions. Our volunteer hui has set up an info and supply hub in Pāhoa to help those affected. MONETARY DONATIONS
The Hawai‘i Community Foundation (HCF), together with Anderson-Beck Fund, Jack’s Fund and the Darrin & Darien Gee Family Fund, have established the Hawai‘i Island Volcano Recovery Fund to assist with recovery efforts in support of Hawai‘i Island communities affected by the
Kilauea volcano eruption.
